Event Planner by Alizia

     A wedding or event planner is a person who plans weddings and events. Their job duties include monitoring activities and conferring event plans. In order to be a wedding/event planner one must be an active listener and good at time management. In addition, must also read fluently.
     To become a wedding or event planner one must go to school to study event planning. He or she will learn about decorating and people skills. It usually takes 2-4 years to become a wedding/event planner.
    After someone receives training to be an event planner they have to make a resume. Some companies that hire wedding and event planners include the Marriot Hotel, the Beverly Hills Hotel, and Days Inn hotel. A person who is starting off in the field can expect to earn $46,260 per year.

In conclusion, I would love to be an wedding/event planner. Some benefits of being an event planner are high pay!! On the other hand some disadvantages are no retirement plan!
