Hospitalist is a doctor who only see's patients in the hospital .Their job duties include Diagnose the thing or problem wrong with the patient and treat them too. In order to be a hospitalist one must be good at active listening and speaking. In addition, one must also have a graduate degree, and have gone to medical school.
To become a hospitalist, one must go to school to study medicine. He or she will learn about diseases and medicines. It usually takes 9-10 years to become a hospitalist.
After someone receives training to become a doctor, they do the residency, last they do an exam. Some companies that hire hospitalist include hospitals. A person who is starting off in the field can expect to earn 160,000 dollars per year.
In conclusion, I would like to be a hospitalist because I like working with people. Some benefits of being a hospitalist are you get helped with student loans . In the other hand, some advantages are getting called for help on the weekends. Overall I think I would like to be a hospitalist.
