A game designer is a person who makes games. There job duties include plots and story lines, characters, methods of winning and losing and user interface creation. In order to be a game designer one must be creative, good with computer and make good designer. In addition, one must also be able to play a lot.
To become a game designer, one must go to school to study graphic designer. He or she will learn about how to make cool graphics and how to program a game. Its usually takes 4 years to become a game designer.
After someone receives training to game designer they pass a test to make a character or cool design. Some companies that hire gams designers include Treyarch, Infinity Ward, and Rockstarr. A person who is starting off in the field can expect to earn 70,000 dollars per year.
In conclusion, game designers get a decent amount per year. Some benefits of being a game designer are work at home a lot. On the other hand, some disadvantages are no work outside. Overall I think I would like to be a game designer.
